Our Story
Nimai Learning Center was founded by two passionate educators, Mansi Kotwal and Yashoda Gunda, who share more than seven years of hands-on experience teaching and managing tutoring programs. Both hold Bachelor’s Degrees in Commerce and have spent years observing how students thrive when given time, attention, and structure. Their shared vision sparked a simple idea: build a learning center near Frisco that supports the student beyond the classroom walls.

Mansi Kotwal
Founder and Teacher
Mansi Kotwal is a commerce graduate with a genuine passion for teaching. After spending several years working in an auditing firm, she chose to follow her long-standing dream of sharing knowledge with children. Driven by her commitment to creating a nurturing environment where young learners can grow with confidence, she partnered with Yashoda to establish the learning center. Mansi is dedicated to helping children discover their strengths, build important skills, and achieve their goals. Supporting students on their learning journey continues to bring her purpose and joy.
Yashoda Gunda
Founder and Teacher
Yashoda Gunda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India. She began her career as a teacher, an experience that sparked her passion for working with children. After moving to the United States in 2000, she transitioned into the IT industry and served as an HR Manager, gaining valuable leadership and people-management skills. Although she excelled in her corporate role, her heart remained deeply connected to teaching. Joining with Mansi to establish the learning center allowed her to return to the field she loves. Yashoda is devoted to guiding young minds, nurturing their potential, and supporting their academic growth.
Ali
Teacher
Ali is a dedicated teacher whose academic focus includes data science and history, with long-term aspirations in both data and education. A former Strongman competitor in 2023, he now trains for strength and overall health. He serves on his church’s prison team, studies world history, hikes to explore God’s creation, and enjoys the energy of metal concerts. Ali considers it a profound honor to support learners, helping them build subject proficiency while growing in identity and purpose. He holds a degree in Actuarial Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and studied abroad in South Korea through a Study Abroad Scholarship.
Rochelle Miranda
Teacher
Ms. Rochelle obtained her bachelor’s degree from University of Southern California and further earned her law degree from Western State University College of Law in Irvine, California.
It was a profound calling for Ms. Rochelle departed from her legal career and pursued her passion for teaching. With a robust background in teaching and a law degree in hand, Ms. Rochelle stands as a beacon of inspiration for her students to be his or her personal best and to equip them with valuable tools to navigate the complexities of our ever-changing society.
She inspires her students to become engaged and compassionate citizens, equipping her students to possess skills that extend far beyond the walls of Nimai learning center.

Jimmy Ross

Greetings! My name is Jimmy Ross, and I am a 25 year professional in public and private school education in both the classroom and administration. I hold two Masters degrees, one in Divinity and the other in Education. I have been married for 29 years, and we have two children, graduates of TCU and SMU respectively. My hobbies are traveling and table tennis. A fun fact about me is I grew up in a family with 14 siblings, and we shared 1 restroom!
